GTAZ hosts Human Rights Activists from Mexico

Yesterday, GTAZ was humbled to to virtually host 6 Mexican IVLP Delegates in a roundtable panel focused on "LGBTI Advocacy and Cross-Sectoral Alliances.”

The panel examined Advocacy Strategies and best practices in promoting awareness of LGBTI Rights on local, national, global and cross-cultural levels, and featured

Ms. Angela Hughey, President, ONE Community & ONE Community Foundation, along with representatives from ACLU of Pennsylvania and Pflag Birmingham.

Global Ties Arizona believes that #ExchangeMatters and is vital in guiding the promotion and protection of human rights.

A special thanks to the U. S. Department Of State, World Learning, Citizen Diplomacy International of Philadelphia & GlobalTies Alabama for your collaborations on this project, and to our Spanish-English Interpreters & International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Delegates for making this program a success.
