Victoria Dowers

Victoria is a growing marketing professional with a natural passion for international relations as she grew up learning both the American and Brazilian cultures as a dual citizen of The United States and Brazil. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from The State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and more recently has been working in the marketing industry with start-up and mid-level businesses.

During her undergrad studies, Victoria studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where she focused on digital marketing and communications. While she has grown up speaking Portuguese fluently, she decided to brush up on her Portuguese grammar skills by taking a course at the Universidade de Brasília in 2019. Most recently, Victoria was sponsored to attend the International Telecommunications Union Global Youth Summit in Kigali, Rwanda, during the summer of 2022. Her plans are to dive further into a career in international relations as she understands the importance of citizen diplomacy and the value of collaborative efforts to exchange ideas, solutions, culture and dialogue with people from around the world.
