🌎 About the Internship
Global Ties Arizona is excited to offer a Programs Assistant internship, thanks to ASU’s Blackstone LaunchPad Internship Program! This 10-week, paid internship provides hands-on experience in international exchange programs, event and program coordination, communications and nonprofit management.
📌 Position: Programs Assistant 📌 Type: Internship – 35 hours per week for 10 weeks (Expectation to work in-office for minimum half of the internship hours per week) 📌 Compensation: $21.42 per hour 📌 Work Location: Hybrid (3110 N. Central Ave. Suite D-160, Phoenix, AZ 85012) 📌 Eligibility: Open to current undergraduate or graduate students at ASU or Maricopa Community Colleges, or Spring 2025 graduates.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Exchange Program Planning: Assist in coordinating program logistics.
Youth Programs: Support the Young Diplomats Summer Institute in June.
Administrative Support: Help with scheduling, preparing documents, and assembling visitor materials.
Research & Communications: Conduct research, draft social media content, newsletters, and promotional materials as related to programs.
Database Management: Maintain program records and ensure accurate reporting.
On-Site Event Support: Assist at program-related events as needed.
✔️ Qualifications
Enrolled at ASU or Maricopa Community Colleges or a Spring 2025 graduate
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva and comfortable with learning new platforms
Interest in international affairs, cultural exchange, and diplomacy
