Dr. Steve Kaplan, President of Asian Festival and Winnie Kho Kaplan, Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Arizona are committed to communities and local business engagement. They are driven to establish a strong local network, engaging and building relationships with leaders, businesses and governments. They organized Asian Festival 2022 partnering with the City of Mesa to unveil the Asian District Signage and Culture Night 2023 promoting Asian District. The Festival was an eye-catching tourist attraction, positively impacting the city economically by generating attractive revenue. It was a great success and attracted more than 20,000 attendees.

  • Enjoy and experience the rich colorful Asian Culture, performances, art & crafts, food and tradition.

  • The Festival connects community with the culture of Asia and allows attendees to visit educational marketplace booths depicting the life, culture and beauty of Asian communities. It is a unique extravaganza that includes artifact displays and hands-on activities such as traditional fashion show, Asian cuisine, calligraphy, game, lantern making and tea ceremony.
