Michael Zientek

Michael is a financial executive with over 40 years of experience. His career includes senior management positions in accounting and finance at several Fortune 500 companies, including the American Express Company, McKesson Corporation, and Gap, Inc. where he served in a variety of roles, including General Manager of Corporate Shared Services, CFO of Global Supply Chain and Chief Audit Executive. In 2018, Michael returned to Arizona to establish his CFO consultancy practice, specializing in delivering financial and compliance services to small and mid-sized businesses.  

Beyond his professional work, Michael is deeply committed to community service. He has served on the Board of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, where he was Chairman in 2009. He also served on the board of Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance, a private non-profit membership organization whose mission is to recruit business and industry to the Albuquerque metropolitan area. His philanthropic involvement extends to the arts, having served on the Audit Committee of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and to healthcare, as a board member of the West Coast Children’s Clinic in Oakland, California. Michael is currently a member of the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA Board of Advisors.  

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University.  

In his leisure time, Michael enjoys pickleball, hiking, biking, and international travel.
