Global Ties Arizona, in partnership with City of Chandler's DEI Division, Hosts Global Citizens’ Coffee Circle with 22 Emerging Political Leaders from 20 Nations
Global Ties Arizona hosted our final Global Citizens Coffee Circle of the year, welcoming 22 emerging political leaders from 20 diverse countries at the beautiful Chandler Museum. These delegates, visiting through the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) as part of the "Not Too Young to Run" initiative, are dedicated to reshaping political landscapes in their home countries.
Presented in partnership with City of Chandler’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division, this gathering offered local community members an exceptional chance to connect with emerging international leaders focused on civic engagement, policy reform, and community initiatives. Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke opened the morning with special remarks, setting the tone for insightful conversations around local governance and the importance of cross-border collaboration. Throughout the morning, delegates and community members engaged in rich, informal discussions that bridged cultures and perspectives.
Many thanks to Chandler Museum for hosting and City of Chandler's DEI division for their collaboration on this event. We also extend special thanks to Refreshments Sponsor Mr. Jae Chin, Chandler community leader, and Supporting Sponsor Ms. Michelle Chang, President of the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Phoenix – North America, for helping make this memorable event possible.
