The Arizona Citizen Diplomacy Corps (AZCDC) provides Arizona residents with insight and exposure into the realm of foreign affairs and diplomacy through several distinct engagement opportunities, including interaction with participants of the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The AZCDC initiative is led by Global Ties Arizona in partnership with local and international like-minded organizations and educational institutions. Global Ties Arizona is a member of the World Affairs Council of America and Global Ties US.

Becoming a Dinner Diplomacy Host provides a unique, interactive, and mutually beneficial opportunity for international leaders and local families to connect. As a Home Dinner Hospitality Host, you can literally bring the world to your kitchen table. Often proclaimed as the most memorable aspect of the IVLP journey, participants are keen to gather insight from Americans and vise versa.

Becoming a Professional Exchange Resource Host provides a unique, interactive, and mutually beneficial opportunity for international leaders and local experts to engage in discussions and explorations of directed topics. Professional Resource Hosts are the core of the visitor’s experience while participating in IVLP and the opportunities to collaborate, connect, and create are truly endless.

Global Ties Arizona is a small, 501(c)3 organization with limited human and financial resources. As such, skill-based volunteers are a high priority to assist in accomplishing the organization’s mission. Available volunteer positions include: volunteer coordinator, membership assistant, events assistant, bookkeeper, and historian.

Becoming an Occasional Volunteer Driver provides a unique, interactive, and mutually beneficial opportunity for international leaders and locals to connect. As an Occasional Volunteer Driver, you can literally bring the world to your car and attend IVLP meetings alongside visitors.
This role is best suited to those with flexible schedules and a car suited to transport at least 5 people.
