Co-Founder & Chairman China Mist Tea Co 1982-2016. 12 years of service on the Paradise Valley Town Council. Former Board Chair of Children’s Action Alliance, Teach for America/Phoenix, Phoenix Day Child Development Center and The Wliiam's Institute for Ethics & Management. Former Founding Board Member of Friends of Public Radio AZ and Board Member of the Scottsdale Cultural Council.. Currently Governing Board Chair of The School of Architecture (aka The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture). AZ SBA Exporter of the Year. Former Board Member Phoenix Chamber of Commerce & Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Former Phoenix,Scottsdale Small Business of the Year. Awarded Inc Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year AZ.
