My name is Clara Kammerlander. I am currently an international student from Denmark at Arizona State University, where I am pursuing bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Global Studies, along with a certificate in International Studies.
I aim to use my degree and skills in foreign affairs and public service to create positive change both nationally and globally, which I aspire to achieve through diplomacy.
I have gained experience in public service through volunteer work with the Red Cross and Save the Children Youth at refugee centers in Denmark, volunteering at soup kitchens and shelters in Arizona, and volunteering at orphanages in India and Mexico.
In the field of international relations and diplomacy, I have been fortunate to intern with the Honorary Consul of Denmark in Arizona and participate in the social media committee for the Diplomatic Corps of Arizona. These experiences have highlighted the importance of career diplomats and consuls and I am now even more eager to continue learning about diplomacy and the effect and importance of citizen diplomacy.
